Earn your High School (HS) Credential

HS Graduates make an average of $7,800 more per year than a non-graduate. 

This is Royal Oak Schools program for adults who wish to complete the requirements for a high school diploma.
Graduates and students who attend school during the day will pay a tuition fee of $250.00 for evening classes. High School students must have permission from their counselor.
This program is only for participants who are 18 years or older as of July 1, 2025.
At the first appointment, participants will be required to take reading and math level tests. The first appointment, which includes tests and registration, takes approximately 3 hours in total.
There is no upper age limit for this program.
There is a $25.00 registration fee.


You can reserve your spot for the 2025-26 registration starting on August 1, 2025.  Appointments begin on August 18, 2025.

Classes run from September through mid-June. Some high school classes are conducted in person at the Churchill Community Education Center, while others utilize an online learning platform.  Even online classes require participants to attend the lab once a week. 
Please bring a copy of your driver's license and transcripts to your testing appointment. If you don't have a copy of your transcript, please obtain it before your appointment.  If you are unable to obtain transcripts, please come anyway; we will assist you.
